Wireless CCTV camera have a two types, one is using normal analog cctv camera and combined with transmitter and receiver. Another types is Wireless camera, using same technology like wifi card on the laptop or pc.
The picture behind is wireless camera, using 2.4ghz frequency to transmit data ( audio and video to receiver like router). The concept it’s same like wifi card, have a MAC address (*device identity), so once the device switch on, MAC address will be looking to the router, and request for the ip address. After that Router will give the ip address to the wireless cctv camera.
And for the setup wireless cctv camera, what u have to do is, install the software (normally wireless camera come with software. When the installation finish, the device should get the data ( video and audio). Normal wireless cctv camera can cover up to 200 meter range. But if u want wireless cctv camera cover range up to 200 meter, go to the branded wireless cctv camera.
Second type is Analog cctv camera, but to convert from analog cctv camera, u have to using transmitter and receiver. To transmitter the video u need to used transmitter, and then to receive the video or data need a receiver.

To connect from cctv camera to the DVR PC, still using RG59 cable from the cctv camera to the transmitter, and then from DVR PC connect RG59 cable to the reciever. And the range u can cover if using transmitter and reciver can support from 100-300 meter depend on where u install the device.

How to install Dynamic ip software to your cctv pc and make your cctv pc as a cctv web server. Follow the guideline below.
First u need to install dynamic ip software like no-ip, dyndns updater, and u can find dynamic ip software free over the internet.
For me, easy to use no-ip software because it’s easy to setup and configure. Get Dynamic DNS for your domain , and download the software.
After software downloading finish, open ducsetup.exe from where u download folder.
Just click next and follow the instruction.
Once you finish the installation, one pop up windows come out, and need to key in email and password. How to get the email and password? U need to register with no-ip website first and please make sure using a valid email address.
After finish register with no-ip website, u need to create a host from website no-ip, log in with your email registration and click add host. Fill in host like : mijie, and select which one u one for the hosting, example :mijie.myftp.org
Normally u need to wait around 30 second to 1 minute to get your host from no-ip website. To check your host already create, go to start and click run: type cmd and command prompt will pop up to your computer, and type : ping yourhost.myftp.org, change “yourhost” to your host have u create before. example : mijie.myftp.org.
If they reply, means your host already active.
And then back to the dynamic-ip software “no-ip”, and fill up your email and password. And click refresh host list, and your host will show.
Done, now your cctv pc ready to be web cctv server. To test or check your web server function, ask your friend to open web browser and type your host and check whether your web cctv server running.

I just want to share my experience 3 years working with cctv security system enviroment. Actually cctv security system it’s not hard to learn and practice. I’m start from zero knowledge about cctv, First i join in cctv line, it’s take around 2 week to learn about cctv.
Firstly i learn basic knowledge about cctv camera, how they function and also how to install the cctv camera. I start reading about type of cctv camera like dome camera, CCD camera, infrared camera, and got many type of cctv camera.
After i learn and know little bit about cctv camera, i’m start to learn about DVR card, standalone dvr. It’s not just learn how they function, i do a setup dvr card to CCTV PC and everything about cctv, this blog i’m just create for share my knowledge about cctv, anyone want share with me, u r most welcome.
